About the Lab
School of Mechanical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens
Mission
The Control Systems Lab conducts fundamental and applied research in control theory, robotics, and mechatronic systems. The lab is part of the School of Mechanical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), one of the oldest and most prestigious technical universities in Greece.
What we do
- Advance control theory for complex nonlinear and hybrid systems.
- Develop dexterous, adaptive, and collaborative robotic systems.
- Investigate autonomy, planning, and coordination for multi-robot teams.
- Design electromechanical systems and power-conversion hardware.
- Train engineers through rigorous undergraduate and graduate courses.
Collaboration
Our research groups collaborate with industry partners and academic institutions worldwide, contributing to open-source hardware and software, and publishing in leading venues in robotics and control.
